MyTest is an HIV self-testing program, delivered by and for 2SLGBTQIA+ communities. MyTest provides free and confidential access to HIV self-tests, delivered directly to you. HIV self-tests allow you to test when you want and where you want, without worry of judgment, stigma, or discrimination. HIV self-tests are very accurate and safe.
When you order HIV self-tests through MyTest, we ship two free HIV self-tests to you, anywhere in Canada. Shipping is free and packaging is discreet, meaning that people who see the package won’t know what’s in it. We do not share any of your personal information with anyone, including the government and public health partners. To learn more about how we protect your privacy, click here.
Once you receive your HIV self-tests, which typically arrive within 1-2 weeks of your order, you can complete them yourself, share them with others, or hold onto them until you need them. We include clear instructions and tips on using the self-tests. You can also contact our Buddies, who are 2SLGBTQIA+ community members prepared to offer you support via call, text, or email at every step of the process.
After ordering your HIV self-tests, you will be offered the opportunity to complete an optional demographic survey so that we can better understand who this program is reaching. Additionally, after receiving your tests, we will send you an optional follow-up survey by email to learn more about your experience. None of the personal information you provide on your order form is connected to any other survey responses, meaning any survey response you provide is confidential and not linked to your order.
