Privacy

At MyTest, we take your privacy seriously. Some steps we take to protect your privacy are summarized below:

We don’t share your personal information.

  • Our packaging is discreet and non-descript. This means that if someone sees the package on your doorstep, they will not know what’s inside of it.
  • Your personal information is only used to mail self-tests to you. We do not share your personal information with anyone, including government, public health or other health authorities
  • Optional survey responses are confidential and not linked to order details.
  • After ordering your HIV self-test(s), you will be offered the opportunity to complete an optional demographic survey so that we can better understand who this program is reaching. Additionally, after receiving your tests, we will send you an optional follow-up survey by email to learn more about your experience. None of the personal information you provide on your order form is connected to any other survey responses, meaning any survey response you provide is confidential and not linked to your order.

The MyTest program is led by Community-Based Research Centre (CBRC), a national non-profit for gender diverse and sexually diverse people. To learn more about how CBRC protects your privacy, read CBRC’s privacy policy.

I liked the simplicity of ordering an HIV self-testing kit. The kits are easy to use. The information provided is also up-to-date and is supported by research.
